ZTE's GoTa Accepted by ITU Report

Chinese telecom equipment and terminal manufacturer ZTE (0763.HK; 000063.SZ) has announced that the GoTa (Global open Trunking architecture) digital trunking standard submitted by China was accepted by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) report on the ITU conference in Geneva.

GoTa is a digital trunking system jointly developed by ZTE and Chinese national research departments. The system creates a private communication network to provide group scheduling, command, and communications with a high degree of security. GoTa has been used by government organizations to provide scheduling and security for events such as the Olympic Games, the European Cup, and other events.
