Ku6 to Launch US Roadshow in H2 2013

Jeff Shi, CEO of Shanda Interactive's online video subsidiary Ku6 (Nasdaq: KUTV), has disclosed that Ku6 plans a US roadshow in H2 2013 to raise investor awareness about the company, but not to raise any funding. "Ku6 has some regrets," said Shi, "since Ku6 was a backdoor listing through Shanda Interactive's defunct wireless value-added services subsidiary Hurray (also known as Shanda Wireless) and not an IPO, American investors don't have an adequate understanding of the company."

Ku6's share price dropped below USD 1 on December 7, sparking concerns that the company will delist.

Editor's Note: Shi has since stated that delisting is "not an option" for Ku6.
