Spring Airlines Joins Qunar Platform

Chinese internet firm Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) online travel services subsidiary, Qunar, recently formed a strategic partnership with Spring Airlines. The latter will open a flagship store on the Qunar platform, expanding its online ticketing sales market.

The new Spring Airlines Qunar store provides flight booking, discount ticket, and ticket purchasing information. Customers can purchase tickets on over 50 routes departing Spring Airlines' hubs in Shanghai, Shijiazhuang, and Shenyang to first-tier and second-tier business and tourist destinations in mainland China, flights from Shanghai to Hong Kong, Macau, Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Takamatsu, and flights from Hong Kong to Xiamen, Hangzhou, Nanjing, and various international destinations.
