China's 2013 LCD Panel Production to Reach 44 Mln Units

Hao Yabin, VP of the China Video Industry Association (CVIA), disclosed at the China International FPD Cooperative & Innovation Forum in Beijing yesterday that a number of 4.5G, 5G, 6G, and 8.5G LCD panel production lines are under construction upstream in China's panel supply chain, and that with BOE's (000725.SZ; 200725.SZ) and Shenzhen China Star Optoelectronics Technology's (CSOT) 8.5G lines reaching full production capacity, total production is expected to reach 44 mln units in 2013, representing 17.6% of global market share.
