Shanda's Yun Zhong Shu Cheng Mobile App User Base Exceeds 16 Mln

Chinese online media and game operator Shanda Interactive's online bookstore, Yun Zhong Shu Cheng, released its 2012 report on Chinese e-reading today. According to the report, Yun Zhong Shu Cheng has more than 16 mln mobile users to date, has served downloads of more than 630,000 e-book titles, and has received more than 20 mln purchase orders.

62% of Yun Zhong Shu Cheng customers use their mobile phones for reading, the report found, while 16% use a dedicated e-reader device and 12% use a tablet computer. 77% of users said they are willing to pay for good digital content.

Yun Zhong Shu Cheng also displayed updated 2013 Bambook e-reader devices, and announced a content partnership between Yun Zhong Shu Cheng and Bambook.
