Former Ctrip Executive Joins Mobile Travel App 117go

Tang Yibo, former GM of Chinese online travel service provider Ctrip's (Nasdaq: CTRP) online travel open platform, has joined mobile travel journal and experience sharing app "117go" as CEO, responsible for 117go monetization. Tang joined 117go as early at the end of August, 2013.

117go has previously received first-round funding from Redpoint Ventures and Chinese e-commerce conglomerate Alibaba Group. The company will soon announce the completion of a second round of funding, according to media reports. 117go is operated by Shanghai-based Quewo Information Technology.
