Bike-sharing App Bluegogo to Expand to Seattle

36Kr.com, 8/15/17

Tianjin-based Luding Technology, operator of mobile bicycle-sharing app Bluegogo, will expand its operations to Seattle in a joint venture with a local operator, said the company in a correspondence with Chinese online media outlet 36Kr. Bluegogo is providing the bikes, brand, and technology, while its local partner handles operations. Bluegogo also said that it will only deploy a small number of bikes as part of a pilot, which will be expanded later based on the success of the test.
