Children's Online English Education Firm Danyue Lands RMB 520 Mln Series C

Hangzhou-based Danyue Technology, operator of children's online English education platforms 360ABC and Landi English, recently announced completion of RMB 520 mln in Series C funding from unspecified investors.
360ABC is an online live streaming English tutoring platform focued on youth-oriented English-language teaching.
Landi English is an online foreign-language small-group learning brand. It mainly offers online British and American English classes with two students per instructor, following a paired-classmates learning approach that incorporates peer influence educational methods. It offers high-quality educational content aimed at students between 5 and 10 years old, with English as the language of instruction for courses covering the natural sciences, math, and language arts disciplines. Students can access the platform through iPad and PC client interfaces.
Landi English said that it currently has more than 1 mln registered users and adds over 10,000 new fee-paying members per month. The platform hopes to reach 5 mln registered users by 2019.
