China's Mobile Data Consumption Up 97% YoY in Jan-Aug 2019

China's mobile data consumption during the first eight months of 2019 increased over 96.5% YoY, according to newly released statistics from the country's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). China's Jan-Aug totals for national communications industry revenue and sub-set telecom industry revenue, as well as mobile data consumption, fixed-line telephone talk time duration, and mobile phone talk time duration were as follows:
