China Mobile Recruits TD-SCDMA Trial Users

China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) has launched a website for TD-SCDMA trials, chinamobile3g.com, which is recruiting TD-SCDMA users in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Shenyang, Qinhuangdao and Guangzhou. Any eligible user may apply to participate, with testers to be given handsets, data cards and offered customer support. Participants must undertake to provide feedback on their usage.

Editor's note: According to the website, any China Mobile user who has been a customer for over a year and spends RMB 150 on mobile calls and RMB 20 per month on new services is eligible to apply. Participants are required to visit the website once every fortnight to complete an online questionnaire.
