China Starts Online Gaming Standardization Work

A list of names for eleven standards recently appeared on the China National Information Technology Standardization Technical Committee's website under the Game Standards System Research and Construction heading. Included on the list were "Standards for Online Game Security," "Standards for Online Game Testing," "Standards for Online Gaming Software Development," "Multimedia Technical Requirements for Game Software," "Standards for Prevention of Malicious Online Game Modifications." The CNITSTC will bear responsibility for organizing and implementing the project.
