3g.cn to Supply Mobile Olympic News

Independent WAP site 3G.cn has announced a deal with sports information portal China Interactive Sports (Sports.cn) to provide Olympic news reports via mobile phone, making 3G.cn the first mobile phone portal to participate in Olympic content provision.
In the future the two parties will work together on the live broadcast of sporting events, shared reporting on major competitions and joint advertising operations. 3G.cn CEO Deng Yuqiang revealed that the two parties' Olympic channel, 2008.3g.cn, is already online, and that all content will be provided free of charge. Deng said that with rapid growth in mobile advertising income, 3G.cn is already profitable.
