SARFT Releases Full List of Licensed Online Video Sites

SARFT has released a list detailing the 247 companies and websites that, to date, have been granted Online Audio-Visual Broadcasting Licenses.
The majority of the license holders are state-owned firms, including local broadcasting authorities, local radio and TV stations, local/national newspapers, and other state-owned companies. Among the total, 61 license holders are based in Beijing, 27 in Guangdong and only 8 in Shanghai. Of this 61, only around 25 are privately owned / listed companies:
