Guangxi Telecom to Deploy IPTV Video Ad Network

Network solutions provider UTStarcom (Nasdaq: UTSI) has announced that Guangxi Telecom will deploy an IPTV interactive video advertising system using UTStarcom's RollingStream technology.
The first stage of the system will be deployed in 14 cities around Guangxi province, with the set-top boxes to be deployed in supermarkets, department stores, office buildings and in Guangxi Telecom's own offices. UTStarcom will provide 3,600 concurrent IPTV streams for the project.
