VisionChina Q3 Profit Up 382%

Chinese mass-transit digital advertising operator VisionChina Media (Nasdaq: VISN) has announced its unaudited financial results for Q3 2008, with net revenues reaching USD 35.9 mln, up 285.7% year-on-year and 77%% quarter-on-quarter.

Net income for the quarter came to USD18.1 mln, up 381.5% YoY and 112.8% QoQ.

As of September 30, 2008, VisionChina had installed a total of 62,250 digital displays on buses, subways trains and subway platforms, up 3.5% compared to June 30, 2008.

Average advertising service revenues per broadcasting hour during the quarter were USD 1,116, an increase of 191% YoY and 68.8% QoQ.

VisionChina estimates its advertising service revenues for the fourth quarter of 2008 will range from USD 34.0 mln to USD 36.0 mln.
