Alipay Releases Transaction Statistics

Third-party payment firm Alipay has released transaction volume statistics, stating that by the end of October daily transaction volume had reached RMB 550 mln, an increase of over 50% from the first half of this year.
According to Alipay, the coming Christmas season in America, Japan, Singapore and dozens of other countries means that seasonal discounts are set to begin in those markets. Alipay is cooperating to provide cross-border merchant services for over 100 e-commerce websites based in all of the above regions.
