Xiamen Mobile Completes Network Modifications for Three Nos Plan

According to Xiamen Mobile, the city of Xiamen has completed relevant TD-SCDMA network modifications and upgrades in preparation for China Mobile's (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) "Three Nos" policy - no need to change number, change SIM card, or register - which is designed to encourage existing GSM network users to migrate to its 3G TD-SCDMA network. Xiamen is among the first cities to be holding trials for the upgraded TD-SCDMA network.
