A source familiar with the situation has revealed that Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) new 'Phoenix Next' ad system, developed to resolve common problems with paid search result placements under the company's current system, will not be ready in time to go online before the end of this year. The source predicts that the system will be announced during Q2 next year.
