Youku Launches Travel Channel

Video-sharing platform Youku has launched a new travel channel that provides users with travel-related information and services in video format. Youku hopes to make marketing inroads for various vertical industries, with two other specialized channels for automobiles and parenting already launched prior to the introduction of the travel channel.
Youku stated that its travel channel is currently cooperating with China's "The Travel Channel", World Travel Web (www.worldtravelw.com), and certain governmental tourism bureaus.
