TPV to Purchase Philips' Monitor Business

Desk top monitor and LCD television set manufacturer TPV Technology (0903.HK) has said it is to purchase Philips' computer monitor business for up to USD 15.4 mln.
TPV Technology spokesperson Queenie Tso said that the agreement will see TPV take over purchasing, retail, marketing and promotions of Philips computer monitors globally, and have the exclusive worldwide rights to the Philips brand for computer monitors. Philips will receive a licensing fee in proportion to income.
