Suning Shanghai Plans 20 New Stores in 2009

Ling Guosheng, executive president of Chinese consumer electronics and home appliance retailer Suning's (002024.SZ) Shanghai management headquarters, has revealed the firm has secured premises, or is in talks to do so, for twenty new stores in twelve areas, including Minxing, Baoshan, Pudong, Xuhui, Jing'an and Huangpu. Next year Suning Shanghai will recruit 3,500 employees, including 200 new graduates, 300 experienced retailers and 3,000 sales assistants.
