New Postcom to Bid for TD-SCDMA Using Own Equipment

An executive at Chinese TD-SCDMA equipment and handset manufacturer New Postcom has divulged that for the third round of China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) TD-SCDMA equipment bidding, the company will launch an independent bid using its own equipment. This is the first time Postcom has used its own equipment for a bid. In previous bidding, New Postcom used TD-SCDMA equipment from Datang.
