Perfect World to Release Over Ten Browser Games in 2009

Zhu Qi, senior vice president of online game developer and operator Perfect World (Nasdaq: PWRD), has stated the firm recently acquired a browser game development company, and plans to release more than 10 new browser games this year.

Zhu said that the purchase was completed in the first half of this year, but refused to reveal financial details. According to Zhu, the company is located in Chengdu and is able to independently research, develop, and operate browser games. In addition, Perfect World will begin seeking partners in the second quarter of 2009 to cooperatively operate company games.
