ZTE Dominates TD-SCDMA Netbook Modules Market

Luo Zhongsheng, general manager for TD-SCDMA handset products at Chinese telecom equipment and handset manufacturer ZTE (0763.HK; 000063.SZ), recently revealed that the company has shipped over 100,000 TD-SCDMA modules to netbook manufacturers. He Shiyou, executive VP for ZTE, added that ZTE has provided all the TD-SCDMA modules for the first round of netbook procurements recently held by China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK), and that the company is currently cooperating with 12 netbook manufacturers.
