Guangxi to Launch Bi-Directional HD-DTV

Guangxi Radio & TV Network plans to launch a bi-directional interactive digital television service during China's May Day holiday, and has already completed the approval and upload process for 150 films and 150 episodes of television series, as well as a portion of in-cinema blockbusters.
A total of 1,000 bi-directional optical receivers have been installed in the five trial cities of Nanning, Liuzhou, Guilin, Wuzhou, and Beihai, providing service coverage to a total of 400,000 households.
