Microsoft Wins Lawsuit against Chinese STB Maker

In a ruling issued today in Microsoft's January 2009 software piracy lawsuit against Chinese digital set-top box (STB) OEM and ODM Shanghai DareGlobal Info Tech, the Shanghai No.2 Intermediate People's Court ordered DareGlobal to immediately halt all infringing behavior, remove all unauthorized and infringing software applications, and pay Microsoft RMB 400,000 in damages.
