Giant Develops First Browser Game

Chinese online game developer and operator Giant Interactive (NYSE: GA) recently announced that it has started planning and development of the company's first browser-based game, which is predicted to launch this year. Giant has also published a public recruitment announcement on its official website seeking applicants for browser-game related positions, including UI designers, software client engineers, database engineers, and designers. Giant's first browser game is likely to be jointly operated by social networking site 51.com.
