Shanda to Begin First CB of New Licensed Game

Online game developer and operator Shanda (Nasdaq: SNDA) recently licensed the online racing game AquAqu from Korean online game developer ACTOZ, and has since put up an official Chinese website for the game (http://aqu.sdo.com/). AquAqu lets players race on land and sea racetracks, and is now mostly completed after two years of development, with initial closed beta testing and a release predicted for this summer.

Editor's Note: In August 2008, ACTOZ and Shanda signed an operating rights agreement for AquAqu under which Shanda will be responsible for promotions and sales work in China, as well as operating the game.
