CCTV Ad Revenues Up 20% in First 4 Months of 2009

Xia Hongbo, advertising director for CCTV, has revealed that CCTV's advertising revenue for the first 4 months of 2009 grew by 20% year-on-year. In 2008, a total of 4,600 enterprises advertised with CCTV, accounting for revenue of RMB 16.1 bln, 80% of which was derived from over 100 bidding enterprises.
