ZTE to Establish 3G Handset Sales Team

Xiong Hui, deputy general manager of Chinese telecom equipment and handset manufacturer ZTE's (0763.HK; 000063.SZ) handset product division, has revealed that ZTE plans to re-establish a 3G handset marketing team that will be responsible for cooperation with operators and that will focus on the development of such areas as smartphones. Xiong added that the team will work to increase the company's share in the mid- to high-end handset market.
