Industry insiders have revealed that Chinese online video sharing platform Youku is seeking to join forces with C2C & B2C e-commerce site Taobao to create a video shopping platform. Youku will provide video services for Taobao sellers to use in displaying their wares. According to the source, the alliance will be officially announced in the next several days.
