People.com, 6/11/09

Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) C2C e-commerce platform YouA introduced a new consumer protection service today. Initially, the service will offer "trusted merchant," "7-day unconditional return," "genuine product," "genuine import," and "guaranteed new" certifications. Sellers who apply for and are approved for the certifications will receive opportunities to display their services in online stores, product listings, and search results. If they are found to have violated the rules, Baidu will compel the sellers to compensate buyers.
