LG to Launch Mobile Application Store in China

LG Electronics launched the beta version of its online applications store today. A spokesperson for LG China confirmed that the service will become available for the Chinese market on August 30. LG's online app store will provide some 1,400 applications, including 100 free programs, and support 15 languages. The service will first be available in Asia-Pacific region countries like Singapore and Malaysia.
