Netease: WoW Closed Beta to Last Only One Week

Online game developer and operator Netease (Nasdaq: NTES) announced today that the closed beta testing of its licensed 3D MMORPG World of Warcraft will start from July 30 and last for just one week.

Only players with existing accounts will be allowed to participate in the tests, and during the test period Netease will not be allowed to charge fees or permit new registrations.
