Chinese online game developer and operator Netease (Nasdaq: NTES) has confirmed that it has already submitted a revised edition of World of Warcraft to China's General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP), and will relaunch the MMORPG in August provided the approval process is completed smoothly.

Netease also said that it has the utmost confidence that approval will go swiftly, as GAPP's required alterations were mostly minor, not major revisions. According to one industry insider, the shortest possible time to receive GAPP approval is one week.
