Coship, SiTV Cooperate on NGB

Set-top box (STB) manufacturer Shenzhen Coship Electronics (002052.SZ) has signed a cooperation agreement with DTV operator Shanghai Interactive TV (SiTV) for a next-generation broadcast (NGB) pilot project in Shanghai.
According to the agreement, Coship and SiTV have joined forces to push for the establishment of national NGB standards and to construct an integrated NGB service platform, as well as to cooperate on the development of NGB technology and related products. Future plans for the two companies include closer and broader cooperation within the NGB field.
