MIIT Starts Development of Service Outsourcing Standards

China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) will release one, possibly two service outsourcing draft standards for public review by the end of this year. The draft standards will be issued by the service outsourcing special committee, part of the IT service standards working group.
The committee is led by Chinese software provider Neusoft (600718.SH) and is composed of 14 to 15 domestic enterprises.
The committee has formulated a national service outsourcing standards framework under MIIT guidance, and assigned responsibilities for required tasks.
