Shanda Games Files for U.S. IPO

Shanda Interactive's (Nasdaq: SNDA) online gaming subsidiary, Shanda Games (SDG), has announced that it filed a registration statement with with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for an initial public offering of American Depositary Shares (ADS), which will include secondary shares to be sold by parent company Shanda Interactive. Goldman Sachs (Asia) and J.P. Morgan are serving as joint bookrunners for the offering, for which the quantity and price of shares to be offered have not yet been determined.
