Netmovie to Sue Internet TV Manufacturers

Chinese online video content provider Netmovie has revealed plans to sue Internet TV manufacturers TCL (000100.SZ), Haier, Hisense (600060.SH) and Changhong (600839.SH) for copyright infringement in the near future. Netmovie argues that since it has licensed online video websites to broadcast Netmovie copyrighted content exclusively on the web, TV manufacturers are providing the content without permission.
