China Unicom 3G Subscribers Reach 330,000

At the 31st GSMA Asia-Pacific Conference and Exhibition in Shanghai today, China Unicom (NYSE: CHU; 0762.HK; 600050.SH) senior VP Zhao Jidong revealed that Unicom now has 330,000 3G mobile subscribers. Zhao added that his company has begun cooperation with 57 mobile operators worldwide for 3G roaming service.
Unicom already offers roaming service in cooperation with 319 operators across 215 countries, of which 57 now offer 3G roaming.
