Baidu Launches B2C Search Marketing Program

Following cooperation between Chinese search engine Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) and 20 major brands on B2C services, Baidu has announced the establishment of a B2C online vendor alliance, along with the official launch of a "Venus 100" plan that will provide search engine marketing (SEM) solutions to small- and medium-sized enterprises. Baidu plans to open the program to an initial 100 companies; a number of B2C SMEs have already joined on in a first round.
