PPStream Mulls VC Funding, September Revenue Up 500%

Sina Tech, 11/02/09

Xu Weifeng, president of P2P streaming video platform provider PPStream, has said the company has no intention of going public, but that it is open to talks with investment banks and venture capital firms, and hasn't ruled out bringing an investor like Morgan Stanley or Goldman Sachs on board. The company has already had some contact with investors.

Xu said that PPStream's September 2009 revenue increased 500% year-on-year, with the majority of the increase coming from increased advertisement revenue. Advertising revenue will account for approximately 70% of the company's annual revenue 2009.
