eFuture Reports Q2 2009 Net Loss of RMB 11.4 Mln

Beijing-based retail software solutions provider eFuture (Nasdaq: EFUT) has announced its unaudited financial results for Q2 2009, with total revenues reaching RMB 22.2 mln (USD 3.25 mln), down 8.1% year-on-year.

Net loss for the quarter came to RMB 11.4 mln (USD 1.7 mln) compared with a net loss of RMB 0.97 mln in Q2 2008.

Revenue from software license sales reached RMB 5.0 mln (USD 0.7 mln), down 34.5% YoY.

Revenue from hardware sales were nil, compared to RMB 2.92 mln in Q2 2008.

Revenue from service fees reached RMB 11.6 mln (USD 1.7 mln), down 7.5% YoY.

eFuture also restated its financial results for Q1 2009, with adjusted total revenues down 1.36% YoY to RMB 13.82 mln in the quarter instead of RMB 14.0 mln, and an adjusted net loss of RMB 7.47 mln compared to a net loss of RMB 6.34 mln in Q1 2008. Net loss for the quarter was previously reported reaching RMB 6.6 mln.
