ByRead Wins USD 3 Mln Funding

Chinese mobile reading platform provider and SNS operator ByRead has announced the completion of its first round of funding. The round was led by Media Chinese International subsidiary Media Connect Investment, and also included Morningside Ventures. These two firms combined for a total investment of more than USD 3 mln.
ByRead's mobile SNS currently has more than 15 mln registered users. The company has said that it will use this round of funding for mobile software development and marketing.
