Kingsoft, Dell to Form Strategic Partnership

Dell and Chinese software maker Kingsoft (3888.HK) will hold a press conference after the Chinese New Year holiday to announce their new mid- to long-term strategic partnership framework. The two companies will work together in the future on preinstalling software, seasonal product sales support, and strategic joint product promotions, as well as in other areas.

If Kingsoft and Dell do agree on a long-term partnership, they will pool their resources in advertising, local promotions, campus promotions, and expo promotions.

Kingsoft said it would not rule out the possibility of releasing Kingsoft-themed custom Dell computer products in future.
