Li Xinzhe, CFO of Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU), revealed that Baidu currently has approximately 4,400 sales employees, and plans to expand sales staff this year to meet the increased demand generated by the company's transition to its new Phoenix Next advertising system. Li predicted that Baidu would hire at least as many new employees this year as it did in 2009.
