CDC Corporation Reports USD 300K Profit for Q4 2009

Chinese global enterprise software and new media company CDC Corporation (Nasdaq: CHINA) has announced financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2009. For the fourth quarter of 2009, revenue was USD 83.0 mln, up 8.36% quarter-over-quarter but down 14.43% year-over-year. Net income attributable to controlling interest was USD 0.3 mln compared to a net income attributable to controlling interest of USD 5.6 mln in the third quarter of 2009 and a net loss attributable to controlling interest of USD 81.1 mln in the fourth quarter of 2008.

For the full year 2009, CDC Corporation reported revenue of USD 320.1 mln, down 21.76% from 2008. Net income attributable to controlling interest was USD 16.8 mln, compared to net loss attributable to controlling interest of USD 114.2 mln for 2008.

CDC Corporation's guidance for 2010 estimates revenues at USD 352 - 358 mln, and adjusted EBITDA of USD 48 - 51 mln.
