MIIT Issues 113 3G Network Access Permits in March

According to data released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), the MIIT issued a total of 346 network access permits in the second half of March.

In the first half of March, the MIIT issued 26 permits for 3G terminals: 13 were for TD-SCDMA terminals, including 7 handsets, 7 were for CDMA2000 terminals, including 3 handsets, and 6 were for WCDMA terminals, including 4 handsets.

In the second half of the month, the MIIT issued 87 permits for 3G terminals: 35 were for TD-SCDMA terminals, including 23 handsets, 20 were for CDMA2000 terminals, including 12 handsets, and 32 were for WCDMA terminals, including 27 handsets.

Editor's Note: According to separate reports, in the first half of March, the MIIT issued a total of 194 network access permits.
