Baidu iPost Bar Records 30 Mln Registered Users

Chinese internet company Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) Post Bar BBS has announced that the number of registered users for its iPost Bar social networking product has broken 30 mln. Baidu also posted screenshots of internal testing for a major upgrade slated for a May release.

The new version of iPost Bar will enable users to follow not only individuals but forums as well. The screenshots show that iPost Bar will have functions allowing users to subscribe to feeds of popular posts, images and videos from the Post Bar. According to one iPost Bar executive, the new version will also allow users to see changes in forum management, as well as what applications and games their friends are using.
