The new B2B2C joint venture between Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) and Japanese e-commerce company Rakuten has announced it will use the Rakuten brand name for its online service platform, which was brought online in concert with the announcement at the domain www.rakuten.com.cn.
Rakuten will soon hold merchant recruitment fairs in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Nanjing, Chengdu and Qingdao.
